We all like to be part of projects with soul. Initiatives that defend our values and with which we can collaborate in different ways. At
Thinkers Co., we organized the
Hackday #RetoSave, which had precisely that objective: in a constantly changing context and riddled with uncertainty, we aspired to create business ideas for
Save The Children Spain, aiming to generate incomes to carry out their projects.
During one day, 30 participants were developing ideas in a creativity workshop through
Design Thinking methodology. Techniques such as Brainwall,
User Test, and
Persona tool, helped solve the
#RetoSave. “All the ideas could be applied and solve many challenges we are facing while move towards our objectives” explains Miguel López Henche of Save The Children.
However,
the winning idea was an online personal ranking service. Through digital visual elements, the participant would show their followers, their participation and honorary profits. “The point is to create a win-win relationship with young people, thus the goal for Save The Children is to
develop a product that generates added value for the people who participate and contribute to their cause”, Víctor Manuel Giorgana, member of the winning team.
This kind of initiative helps the NOGs
to leave their comfort zone and their daily problems, favoring a real change in their action plans. All thanks to
Design Thinking methodologies focused on finding solutions to help those who needed the most.
